December 2019, the first case of a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 was reported in the Chinese province of Hubei. Today, the virus has spread almost all over the world and has caused the death of more than 5.5 million people.
Even though severe forms of the disease and mortality from COVID-19 overwhelmingly occur in the older generation, the consequences of coronavirus infection have had a negative impact on the lives of young people aged 18 to 35 years, whose number, according to various estimates, is approaching 1.8 billion people.
To consider the impact of such consequences, School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University will organize a round table "The role of youth in the post-COVID world: positive and negative trends", within the framework of the International Youth Dialogue "The Voice of the Future".
